With a playful twist on design and an ever-evolving ambiance that exudes sex appeal, FLUXX has set a new standard of sound & lighting. By partnering with gurus SJ Lighting Inc. and Sound Investment AV, FLUXX combines state of the art innovation and technology designed to captivate club goers and capture the attention of A-list talent. Partygoers are enveloped in the experience from the ground up, courtesy of an all-wood dance floor designed to enhance the bass and vibrations of the music, and a state of the art lighting and sound installation so precise that it has the ability to shift and transform the club environment with hundreds of interior variations and color palettes.

Widely recognized as a leader in creativity and innovation in the audio industry, Sound Investment AV’s goal with FLUXX was simple: to build a sound system of such a high quality that it would provide a transcendent listening experience to guests, and a platform to accommodate top DJs and live performance talent of a caliber unseen in other San Diego clubs. A combination of fourteen 21" subwoofers and over 50,000 watts of high fidelity power, plus careful tuning, yields a system that is unmatched in quality and performance.

Mood lighting is an understatement when it comes to the lighting system designed for FLUXX. Los Angeles-based SJ Lighting Inc. captured the essence of FLUXX – a club of constant change – and harnessed the ability to transform the look and feel of the space on a minute to minute basis. Working closely alongside FLUXX designer, Davis Krumins of award-winning Davis Ink, the team was able to make the large, open space feel intimate, energized and alive. At the heart of the system, a custom pipe grid, with a double radial bend on two axes, houses nearly 1,000 linear feet of LED lighting that encircles the large dance floor and can be infinitely customized with color, positioning, and movement. The crown jewel of the club are three enormous, custom designed circular lighting installations on stage, housing two cut-out stages for the FLUXX Dancers, each of which flank the central DJ booth. Each has the ability to shift color and various visual elements and can even be choreographed to the music.
